2 Arms Media is a literary rights management company working at the intersection of publishing, film, and television. The company manages a select roster of authors, illustrators, and publishing clients to oversee and sell literary rights, guiding projects from early development through adaptation and global distribution. Its work includes building long-term career strategies for both emerging and established authors and creators in book publishing, and actively packaging and positioning intellectual property for studios, streamers, and publishers worldwide.
With a strong presence in both the literary and screen industries, the team brings experience collaborating with leading studios and streaming platforms including Amazon-MGM, Universal, Netflix, Disney+, and Sony on a growing slate of projects.
2 Arms Media represents a diverse roster ranging from debut authors to internationally bestselling creators. Among its clients are Kristin Cast, whose House of Night series has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide and whose romantasy series TOWERFALL secured a high six-figure North American deal; Hamish Steele, creator of the DEADENDIA graphic novels and the Netflix adaptation DEAD END; and Isabel J. Kim, whose debut novel SUBLIMATION our team sold in a seven-figure auction and which was optioned for television by Universal.
2 Arms Media is led by President and Head Agent Steven Salpeter, who previously spent eight years at Curtis Brown before moving into IP development and production at Assemble Media, where he focused on commercially driven storytelling.
